GCVP is one of the leading animal vaccine manufacturer in Korea. The research center was established with an aim to carry out R&D in an organized and creative manner so that biotechnology can be applied to the livestock and the fishing industries. In 1999, the center was accredited by Korea Industrial Technology Association under the Ministry of Knowledge Economy as a private research institute funded by Green Cross Veterinary Products Co., Ltd. In close collaboration with universities, government-funded research institutes, relevant firms, and overseas research teams, Green Cross Veterinary Research Center is committed to developing and commercializing safer and more effective medicines for animals and conducting research on animal disease as well.
